yep, the guys are great. Being diferent from all the others and haveing your own opinion rules! Nothing could make me want to be a clone, either. I always end up liking the german songs better. English is my native language, and I just started picking up german this year. But to me english songs are just kinda boring and plain. But with me... Her voice in english or german? Both? I think it sounds fine. Though of course, she may have an accent in english. Like Tokio Hotel. That may be the reason for her voice to sound wierd or out of place. Might also be the music. I'm listening to the song now as I type. Her lyrics do seem sloppy. It makes me wonder who translates her songs... English "slang"? What do you mean by cheesy?

yea. and is it just me, or does her voice sound a bit.. ummm wierd/out of place? and as far as the lyrics go.. TH translated their lyrics amazingly well. they kept the flow of the words almost exact as their german stuff. But Lafee it seems kinda sloppy, and the flow of the lyrics compared to german is nothing the same. And I think that some of the words that she chose that are english "slang", she made them sound cheesey. idk. it's just me. but one of my friends thinks the same thing.

Tokio Hotel is my world to say the least. I agree as well, LaFee, her german songs are better in my opinion because; Some reason, her songs do not sound the same at all in English. Like, example "Shut up" and "Heul Doch" Those lyrics are completely differant...((From what I've seen and looked up I could be wrong.)) Snd Tokio Hotel's music, they seem to translate word for word if all possible from German to English. -shrugs- But these are just my way of thinking bout all of this.

i think her english songs are good. You will never get a brill translation because the words have to be made to fit. I think the accent is a good thing. Better that than adjusting her voice because then it's not her anymore and that cheats her true fans.
