Yeah, I think it's just that power metal style, I mean I love high vocals but I prefer soaring ones without vibrato, like Chiodos or Saosin style vocals, I dunno. Power metal vocals tend to sound quite harsh and erm 'closed' is the way I can describe it.

i'm the kind of guy that listen a lot to avantasia.. altrough I don't follow record launches, news about the bands and this kind of stuff. so, this week I discovered that there are 2 new avantasia albums. "Alright!" i though. then I listened to them. to be honest, disapointment is the least I can say. really, i'm still listening to one or other song that I liked a bit, where is that "metal opera" stuff? that was the cool thing, and there is nothing left of that. sorry for bad english.

Wow, Tobias with long hair, beautiful. I know, music is the main thing, but also Avantasia music isn't like it used to be it that days anymore. Now it is poprock of fhat the fuck Tobi calls it! It isn't bad, when you listen just to Scarecrow. But when you know previous albums, you feel sick.

I think this is the better version of matoya's cave!Even better than their studio one,They developed this song really nice in that live and even though they extended it to 8 minutes it doesn't get boring for one second :-)

Love this song from the first time i heard it, its so relaxing and the solo is simply amazing, Uematsu is incredible at what he does. Quality is of course never as good live as it is in the studio but i think thats part of the charm.

I understand wanting to hear it like the original (And Uematsu Nobue is in the band) but the way you say it makes me think you just want to hear a band replay something. When they redo a song, they're adding themselves to it. Take Cake's cover of "I Will Survive" as a prime example of this.
