This is a bloody good cover. As some have said already, it's stupid to compare it with the original, because they're just too different in style - it's obvious they'll be played for different "feels". And this whole US/UK thing is fucking stupid. I'm British, and I don't care any more. Language evolves, war is shit, and the human race is as glorious and as flawed as it ever was. Let's just get on with it.

Woah! Britian would have been able to defend herself without Lend Lease (which paled in comparison to the quantities of raw materials coming from the empire, under the protection of the Royal Navy). Sure, if Hitler hadn't launched Barbarossa then Britian may have had to repulse an invasion (SEALION) but the German Army, without air or naval superiority, would have stood little chance of success. By invading the Soviet Union, Hitler had already lost the war, the US simply sped up the process.....

your right hitlers major mistake was attacking russia but the USA was involved in the war long before the events of pearl harbor the USA had a lend lease act with britain and france giving them supplys to fight the war with out this britain would have starved to death and france would of been trapped without allies thus hitlers victory but because the USA this never happened thus the USA are due the amount of credit they get not for fighting but for the victory and defence of britain

1) The primary cause of American involvement in WW2was the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor. No Pearl Harbor. No U.S. involvement. 2)Germany lost the war long before 1944. Due to: the Battle of Britain and the invasion of Russia. The Russian winter kicked Germany hard in the balls. There's more credit to be given to the Russians and English than one would think. The U.S. doesn't deserve all the credit.

are you serious? Oasis released the original in 1995. look it up anywhere. ryan adams didnt cover this till early 2000s.
