Now the Democrats were all voted in to use the power of the purse to end the damm war. They didn't. And i dont care if georgia killed 100 or 1000 or 1000000, it is still wrong to do that just because those people did not want to be georgian. Actually it`s not even clear if nordstream will be builded even if, it would be much more expensive than a land pipe and either way i shouldn`t care, since Lisbon Treaty will be pushed (it will be), there will be just one market and org to deal with... EU. So it really matters not much if you sell this gas to Germany or Poland.
