hes got a wife and kids and you obviously don't know music. Death is good but Petruccis solos have alot more structure than shuldiners ever did. Also there is not that much shredding in this video and since when is i a crime to shred.

whahahahah. petrucci the best for me(in my own stupid fucking opinion). he is very good and creative even when he plays fast he does not screw up and retains the quality. i can't hear any bad note.

Just checking this guy out. Compared to Holdsworth and McLaughlin this is good but not great, and a fairly simplistic musical approach overall.

This is guitar playing that shows that not every moment do you need to ramble off notes and show us your bedroom chops constantly. If Mr. Romeo could ever figure that out, he'd be in the class of Petrucci. Romeo is AWESOME just the same though.

Every time I see these young kids out there today, banging out 3 fucking power chords on their drop tuned guitars, jumping around like idiots, and thinking they are great, I tell them to go home, watch a Dream Theater DVD, and learn how to play your fucking guitar!!!
